South West Councils needs a high calibre person to meet the demands of a changing and challenging programme of work.
We are a regional public sector organisation that brings together local authorities, police, fire & rescue services, parish and town councils, national parks and other associate organisations in the South West.
This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your experience by providing advice and consultancy support to a wide variety of different organisations who need our assistance in addressing employment issues. Our work is incredibly varied and amongst other things you will conduct complex and/or potentially politically sensitive investigations, advising at grievance/disciplinary/appeal hearings, conducting pay and grading reviews and delivering employment related training.
Although you will be based in Taunton, Somerset, you will be expected to travel throughout the South West and in doing so will get to enjoy this beautiful part of the country.

We offer you access to the local government pension scheme, a flexi-scheme and opportunities for professional development within the organisation.
