Description:

This popular workshop examines how the effective management and motivation of hybrid teams is fundamental to continued organisational success.  The workshop is delivered remotely (although in-person delivery can be considered for in-house courses) and includes handouts from other Councils providing examples of policies, procedures and models.

Content

The 3½-hour workshop covers:

  • Effective Communication – why we need to effectively communicate within mixed work location teams as we move away from managing by presence to managing by outcome, and make effective communication everyone’s responsibility
  • Building Positivity in the Workplace – ensuring colleagues remain positive and focused in their working environment by employing positive practical solutions
  • Goal-Setting and Routine – providing effective direction on workload planning and prioritisation, managing our workloads in both the office and the remote working environment, and effectively focusing on getting key tasks completed in a planned way in the hybrid working environment
  • Team Working Culture – examining ways in which we can maintain team cohesiveness, particularly over the long term, when leading a hybrid team and the essential leadership styles required to achieve this
  • Understanding Challenge – exploring opportunities and the new working environment, and how we can build our individual resilience and teams’ resilience in times of change
  • Emotional Wellbeing in the Workplace – how guaranteeing the emotional wellbeing of our workforce is vital in the new working environment, through the application of local authority best practice employee assessments, risk assessments and appraisal and development templates and guidance

Venue:

This course will be delivered remotely.  You will attend live interactive sessions.

£99 + VAT for the open event and £575 + VAT for up to 12 on an in-house course for members
£110 + VAT for the open event and £625 + VAT for up to 12 on an in-house course for non-members
