Education HR
SW Councils provide specialist advice on the complex world of schools HR, whether it’s understanding the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document, Green Book, Soulbury or term-time only working, we are here to help.
Working closely with the LGA and DfE to ensure we have the latest information on any upcoming changes and to feed into the annual consultation processes.
We can also provide experienced, professionally qualified Investigating Officers to undertake independent investigations for schools, with experience in safeguarding cases and working with Headteachers and Governing bodies.
We run an annual Education HR Conference, bringing together key speaker from the LGA and DfE, with workshops covering hot topics in the field of Education HR.
Local Authorities can also participate in the active Education HR (EPOG) network we support. EPOG meet quarterly to share experiences, ask questions and to hear the latest updates from the LGA and DfE. EPOG members also have access to a discussion forum and shared resources.
