Pay and Grading and Job Evaluation
South West Councils has extensive experience in supporting organisations of all sizes with pay and grading matters.
As trusted experts in the use of the two main job evaluation schemes used within the sector: NJC or ‘Green Book’ Scheme and the Greater London Provincial Council (GLPC) Scheme we can provide a range of support, including:
- Conduct of full pay and grading reviews including the assessment of all posts and the design of an appropriate pay and grading structure
- Provision of technical advice at job evaluation panels
- Undertaking independent job evaluation assessments of individual or multiple posts
- Delivery of training on both schemes
We can also evaluate posts using the LGA’s Senior Officer Job Evaluation Scheme and design specific pay arrangements for the most senior posts within an organisation.
