Description

The Learning Mentor apprenticeship is a minimum of 12 months and should typically be completed within 12-18 months.   The Learning Mentor role has emerged within the Education and Training Sector (ETS) as a first step towards development as an education and training professional. Learning Mentors provide support, advice and guidance to develop the learner’s knowledge, skills and behaviours, throughout their learning programme on a one-to-one basis, or in small groups. Learning Mentors provide practical, technical and pastoral support and guidance, working closely with colleagues who support their learners in education and the workplace

Assessment

Assessment is conducted using our EPA portal to upload documentary evidence such as the showcase evidence.   The observation and professional discussion are carried out via recorded video call.
